The Ascenda Minivator was created by the Cibes Lift Group with a simple mission: to provide accessibility to two-story homes at the highest safety standards.
The Ascenda not only conforms with both European and American safety standards, it also comes packed with safety features such as redundant obstruction sensors and an emergency stop button.
But it doesn’t stop there. When it comes to your home, looks matter, and our all glass (tempered and laminated!) design will fit right in. Whether you want it invisible in a corner or as a centerpiece, an Ascenda will always look fantastic!
Our Factory
Our Ascenda Lift Factory by Cibes Lift Group
An idea about a lift in 1947 laid the foundation of the Cibes Lift Group. Today Cibes is one of the world’s leading (and fastest growing) manufacturers of low speed lifts. A civil engineer named Bertil Svedberg(Civil engineer Bertil Svedberg = Cibes) started manufacturing. Developments intensified in the 70s when Cibes also started production of screw-driven lifts. This screw technology, has since become one of Cibes’ most important features and a significant factor for its success.
At Cibes, we are world leaders in manufacturing innovative, space-efficient lift solutions for private houses. What started as a small company in Northern Sweden in 1947 has now grown into an international company that has installed more than 100,000 lifts in over 70 countries. Regardless of our growth, our Swedish roots remain part of our success.
Our Factories : Gävle, Sweden
Our historical factory in Gävle, Sweden, located just 200 km north of Stockholm. Our Swedish production unit primarily focuses on accessibility-friendly lifts for the European market, with a special line of high-end home lifts including Cibes Air and Cibes Cloud Plus.
Factory Size: 10,000 meter square
Our Factories: Peoria, USA
Our factory in Peoria, USA was opened in 2008. It primarily focuses on ASME-certified lifts destined for the USA market, such as the IGD or the Symmetry line of products. It also covers the Latin American market through its export division.
Factory Size: 23,000 meter square
Our Factories: Jiaxing, China
Our factory in Jiaxing, China, was opened in 2020. It hosts the largest R&D center in the group, focused on developing increasingly superior lifts for the entire world. It primarily focuses on ultra-high-end and customized home lifts such as the V Series line or the Antera.
Factory Size: 24,000 meter square
Our Factories: Gdansk, Poland
Our factory in Gdansk was opened in 2022. It serves as a support hub for our Sweden factory, primarily focused on the production of key lift parts such as our guiderails. It also hosts a technical training center for technicians. It primarily serves the European market through the Gävle factory.
